New York's cannabis market is a mess. Weedmaps and Leafly are national platforms that don't understand what it means to be in Mott Haven at 9pm or trying to find something near the G train. They're cluttered, ad-saturated, and treat NYC like just another market.
Worse — they list unlicensed shops alongside licensed ones, putting consumers at risk.
CityLeaf exists to fix that. We're NYC-only, neighborhood-first, and every dispensary on our platform is verified OCM-licensed. No gray areas. No sponsored unlicensed shops. Just real, legal dispensaries reviewed by real New Yorkers.

Every Dispensary Is OCM-Licensed
The NY Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) is the state's cannabis regulator. Only OCM-licensed dispensaries are legal to sell recreational or medical cannabis in New York. CityLeaf verifies every listing against OCM records before it goes live.
What about unlicensed shops?
NYC has hundreds of unlicensed cannabis shops. They operate illegally, sell unregulated products, and put consumers at risk. CityLeaf will never list an unlicensed shop. If you're unsure about a shop, verify it at cannabis.ny.gov.
Own a Dispensary?
If you run an OCM-licensed dispensary in NYC, you can claim your listing on CityLeaf. Claimed listings can add photos, update hours, respond to reviews, and access basic analytics.
