1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using CityLeaf (cityleaf.nyc), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our platform. CityLeaf is operated from New York, NY.

2. Age Requirement — 21+ Only

CityLeaf is strictly for adults 21 years of age or older. By using this site, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old. We reserve the right to terminate access for anyone who misrepresents their age. Cannabis is restricted to adults 21+ under New York State law.

3. What CityLeaf Is (and Is Not)

CityLeaf is a directory and informational platform. We do not sell cannabis, cannabis products, or any controlled substances. We do not process or fulfill cannabis orders. We connect users with OCM-licensed dispensaries for informational purposes only.

Dispensary information (hours, pricing, product availability, delivery zones) is provided by or sourced from individual dispensaries and may not be current. Always confirm directly with the dispensary before visiting.

4. User Reviews

By submitting a review, you:

• Confirm the review reflects your honest, first-hand experience.
• Grant CityLeaf a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, and moderate the review.
• Agree not to submit false, defamatory, harassing, or commercially motivated (fake) reviews.

We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are harmful or inaccurate.

5. Dispensary Listings

CityLeaf verifies dispensary OCM license status at the time of listing. License status can change — we encourage users to verify license status at cannabis.ny.gov. We are not liable for business closures, license revocations, or changes in dispensary operations after a listing goes live.

6. Paid Services

Dispensaries that purchase advertising or listing upgrades agree to our advertiser terms communicated at the time of purchase. Payments are processed via Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact listings@cityleaf.nyc.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use CityLeaf to:

• Scrape, copy, or reproduce our listings or content without written permission.
• Submit fake reviews or manipulate dispensary ratings.
• Impersonate a dispensary, business, or CityLeaf staff.
• Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful code.
• Facilitate illegal cannabis transactions or promote unlicensed cannabis activity.

8. Intellectual Property

All CityLeaf content — including our logo, directory design, neighborhood descriptions, and blog articles — is owned by CityLeaf and protected by copyright. User-submitted reviews remain your property but you grant us the license described in Section 4.

9. Disclaimers

CityLeaf is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of dispensary information. Cannabis affects individuals differently — nothing on CityLeaf constitutes medical advice. Consult a healthcare provider for medical cannabis questions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CityLeaf is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, reliance on dispensary information, or any cannabis purchase or experience at a listed dispensary. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding a claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New York State. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of CityLeaf after changes constitutes acceptance. We will post the updated date at the top of this page.
